The Controvento table is an expression of the contemporary lifestyle. Its name comes from the perfect blend of form and functionality, the foundation of the designer’s creativity vocation.
The characteristic feature of the product is the sophisticated design of the legs, which have been developed to carry out their structural function in the best possible way. At the same time, they confer a very distinctive trait to the table, which remind the typical cross bracing system used in Architecture. The table, available in two sizes, has been designed in order to host from six to ten people. A rotating tray can be placed on the center of the top surface to promote food sharing among all diners. Although Controvento has been developed for the domestic environment, it is nonetheless perfect for the Contract and Hospitality sector. With this product, Francesco Faccin confirms his predilection for natural material: solid oak wood for the base, either oak or stone for the finishes of the table top and tray. Different materials that, combining freely, characterize the object transforming it every time into an unique piece and following the aesthetic preferences of the users.
