Residential furnitures - Chaise longues

Elegant comfort granted, the chaises longues in ultramodern or very traditional, classic or luxury style are born to become the protagonists of the living room. Our archetypes in the last century are the LC4 designed by Le Corbusier back in 1928 and the Barcelona chair by Van Der Rohe, not really more recent since dated 1929. Of course these designs reinterpreted in a completely new way the ancient styled bergéres which were first used in ancient Greece by the philosophers during their lectures, then adopted by the pleasure-seeker Romans and progressively replicated in similar forms over time with changing fortunes, until the eighteenth century, when they returned to fashion in French aristocratic circles in various versions. So in the end, proposed with classic minimal design or in a luxury vest, the chaises longues give an extra value to the living room space, other than being totally comfortable for a relaxing afternoon spent reading a good book. Also available for outdoor use.
