DELLA VALENTINA OFFICE S.p.A. is one of the leading companies in the office furniture sector. Incorporated in 1990 to produce office furniture in laminate and melamine, it has developed an alternative ideal to other producers in the sector: it offers its customers immediate delivery which has become the company’s greatest strength.
This is accompanied by characteristic and innovative designs allied to a huge range of furniture allowing a large choice of operative and executive series. The product ranges offer numerous shapes and colours, all using an easy assembling system; the efficient sales support service offers a computer-aided design (CAD) system, this policy helps to reduce the negative effects of the economic crisis.
After the reorganization of the company which took place in 1993, DVO to grow rapidly: both in terms of market penetration, distributing its products in over 100 countries with about 1.071 customers, and in terms of revenue, judiciously balanced between domestic market and export.
The industrial real estate of the company is composed of an industrial area of about 50.000 m2, of which 33.000 m2 uses modern facilities and efficient stocking systems in order to handle and check our products with ease.
Renowned for its young and dynamic management-team, DVO participates in the most important exhibitions for the sector held in Milan, Madrid, Moscow, Cologne, Dubai and through distributors to the major worldwide showcases.
The company has always paid particular attention to the European Standards regarding safety and reliability of the product as well as environmental policies.
Regarding environmental issues, DVO is endeavouring to have the least ecological impact possible by using environmentally sustainable processes. Hence the collaboration with organizations such as the Green Building Council "GBC" for selecting products that could contribute, e.g.: to the LEED rating. Moreover, on February 2014, DVO was awarded the prestigious GREENGUARD certification from “UL Environment”, therefore DVO allow you to be able to contribute more to the LEED grading.
Environmental sustainability is, for DVO, an integral part of its ethical code and DVO remains convinced of the importance of investing in clean technologies aimed at saving and employing a more rational use of energy resources. Due to these beliefs, it uses a solar-panelled system for the annual production of 1,336,000 kWh of energy and a plant for recycling rainwater.
For this reason, after the certifications UNI EN ISO 9001 (quality), UNI EN ISO 14001 (environment) and the EMAS registration, DVO has developed a company system for the safety and health management in the work environment. It has been developed in accordance to the OHSAS 18001 norm (Occupational Health & Safety Assessment Series) and DVO has obtained the prestigious ICILA certificate.
Another milestone was reached in February 2012 with the Chain of Custody certification according to FSC standards (Forest Stewardship Council).
